Our Mission
Roots & Brush is a nature-based art summer camp located at Full Cup Farm & Sanctuary in Mars Hill, NC. Our mission is to help your child feel more confident in the outdoors, more connected to nature, and to foster their creativity and artistic skills. We believe that by combining artistic expression and nature play, greater learning and deeper joy are possible.
Our practice
Our certified wilderness responders will lead intro first aid, basic fire building, and camping and hiking safety. Your child will learn to identify plants on our nature walks and our art projects will be centered around some of those plants as well as and their favorite native wildlife. There will also be unstructured playtime and group games to keep things fun!
